At Meta Connect, Mark Zuckerberg revealed that the company will soon make leg-equipped avatars available in the virtual reality metaverse.Even as it creates an alternative universe, the tech behemoth wants to demonstrate that it is rooted in reality. In order to interact with the virtual avatars, the business will employ AI to forecast what human legs will do based on upper-body motions. These leg-equipped avatars are still a long way off, and it’s uncertain when they will really appear. But it’s not completely impossible for Meta. To fully enter the metaverse, Zuckerberg and his team must still work out a solution to the avatar leg issue as well as ways to enhance avatar images in general.
