Metaverse has slowly been evolving and is expected to create a big business in the coming years. Due to this, all kinds of markets such as fashion want to invest in it. A report says that it could bring the fashion and consumer goods industry $50 billion in sales by 2030. Gaming is promoting it a great deal with avatars, AR and VR. Fashion shows of different famous companies are held virtually now. Many brands have also moved their products, offers and online stores to the metaverse. In addition to this, digital twins, pure virtual products, NFTs and CryptoPunks are stirring the world of virtual reality, with some of them sold for millions. A thing that turns a product into a luxury is its exclusivity. It is ill-advised for companies to promote this practice and instead make it a more inclusive place. Many brands have some virtual presence but are not considered necessarily a part of the metaverse. They should slowly venture into it but also be aware of the risks by creating digital databases and constantly analysing consumer behaviour.
