According to KPMG’s recent Consumer & Media survey, more than half of US citizens are aware of the metaverse, but just 8% have used it. Metaverse awareness is pretty high across generations, with 66% of Gen Z, 65% of millennials, 53% of Generation X, and 41% of boomers knowing about it. However, compared to Gen Z, 11% of millennials, and 5% of Gen X-ers, boomers are much less likely to have utilised technology. According to a KPMG survey, 20% of respondents have already terminated premium streaming services owing to inflationary pressures. Only 24% believed they would maintain their services despite rising prices, while 31% said they would not change their subscriptions in 2022. Only 15% of respondents acknowledged exchanging passwords, while 47% stated they would pay for their existing services.
