Where the world of Metaverse becomes Real

Jonathan Koon and Highstreet partner to launch a new retail experience, attracting their traditional consumers into metaverse

The founder of fashion brand Mostly Heard Rarely Seen 8-Bit, Jonathan Koon, has collaborated with Highstreet, a web3 metaverse retail platform. They have launched a project to guide the crypto unfamiliar consumer base of the brand into metaverse using traditional retail experience. Their aim is to transition the people to web3 without them having extensive knowledge about it. The fashion brand’s latest physical garment would have a redeemable NFT in the form of a sewn QR code that could be scanned. This will clone the shopper with their purchased apparel into the metaverse. Once in Highstreet, participants would be given tokens and can resale their clothing in markets from OpenSea to LooksRare in the virtual world. The “phygital” experience is set to launch in worldwide boutiques including Sak’s 5th Ave, Neiman Marcus, Selfridges, Harvey Nichols, Beymen, and more. 8-Bit would price the apparel between $120 – $275 and soon have other brands and celebrities in collaboration.
