ImmersedVR working on immersed visor: A new AR and VR capable XR headset with 4K-per-eye resolution

Immersed, a popular VR app developer, is reportedly working on its own XR headset called the Immersed Visor. The headset aims to connect standalone VR headsets like Meta Quest 2, Quest Pro, HTC Vive Focus 3, and Pico 4 to desktop computers. Although the information was accidentally leaked on the website visor.com, several intriguing details were revealed. The Immersed Visor is said to have both AR and VR capabilities with a large 100-degree FOV, making it appear remarkably slim, almost like AR glasses. It is expected to offer a crisp 4K-per-eye resolution supported by micro-OLED displays. The headset is rumoured to be a custom fit for each customer and might be released in 2024. However, further confirmation is awaited from ImmersedVR.
